Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, known professionally as PARTYNEXTDOOR, is a highly influential Canadian singer songwriter and record producer known for pioneering the atmospheric moody sound that defines modern R&B.
He made history in 2013 as the first artist signed to Drake’s OVO Sound record label. His self titled debut mixtape released that July immediately established his unique sonic signature and earned critical praise.
PARTYNEXTDOOR quickly became a commercial force: His debut studio album PartyNextDoor Two (2014) featured the quadruple platinum single “Recognize” (featuring Drake). PartyNextDoor 3 (2016) peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and spawned his first Billboard Hot 100 entries with the singles “Come and See Me” (featuring Drake) and “Not Nice.” Partymobile (2020) matched his previous album's success featuring the single “Believe It” (with Rihanna) which secured his first top 40 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth album PartyNextDoor 4 (2024) was swiftly followed by the chart topping collaborative album with Drake Some Sexy Songs 4 U (2025) which debuted at number one on both the Billboard 200 and Billboard Canadian Albums charts.
Beyond his work as a recording artist PARTYNEXTDOOR is celebrated as an elite songwriter and producer. He has penned hits for some of the biggest names in music most notably contributing to Rihanna's Billboard Hot 100 number one single "Work" (2016) and DJ Khaled's chart climbing hit "Wild Thoughts" (2017). His songwriting credits also span across major releases by artists including Kanye West, Usher, Christina Aguilera, Post Malone and Ne Yo.
